Honoring Dan’s Legacy: The Dan Pedtke Equipment Fund

In honor of Dan’s lifelong dedication to wireless technology, electronics, and ham radio, the Wireless Institute established the Dan Pedtke Equipment Fund to support graduate and undergraduate students. Dan joined the Wireless Institute in November 2022, bringing a distinguished career in Electrical Engineering and radio-frequency circuits that began in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Notre Dame. Returning to South Bend and Notre Dame brought Dan great joy as he shared his knowledge and experiences with students working in the Wireless Institute Lab. Unfortunately, Dan passed away on May 6, 2024, after undergoing three months of treatment for brain cancer.
