Come join the Notre Dame Radio Society (NDRS) as they participate in International Marconi Day on Saturday, April 27, from 12 Noon – 4:00 pm, on the south side of Fitzpatrick/Cushing Hall facing DeBartolo Quad. International Marconi Day celebrates the career of Italian wireless communications pioneer Guglielmo Marconi. He developed the first effective system of radio communication. Marconi was also presented with an honorary degree from the University of Notre Dame by University President Emeritus Fr. John F. O’Hara in 1933. 

The NDRS will use Ham radio to transmit and receive messages with other operators participating in International Marconi Day. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
