Dr. Mehmet Yavus

Bio: Dr. Mehmet Yavuz is the Co-Founder and CTO of Celona that delivers innovative end-to-end 5G networking solution for enterprises using cloud native software and AI-powered automation. Previously, Dr. Yavuz worked as VP of engineering at Qualcomm R&D for 15 years and led many technology initiatives from concept to commercialization, including cellular networks densification with small cells, self-organizing networks and private LTE & 5G networks. He has also worked as CTO of Ruckus Networks and worked at Nortel Networks.
Mehmet holds more than 200 active US patents and recipient of multiple industry awards. He holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.
