Haenggi Promoted to Full Professor

Haenggi joined the faculty in January 2001 and is also a Concurrent Professor of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics.  His research interests include wireless network modeling and analysis, communication algorithms and protocols, and ad hoc, cognitive, and sensor networks. He is the director of the Emerging Wireless Architectures (EWA) laboratory. In 2010 he received the IEEE Communications Society Best Tutorial Paper Award. Haenggi is a founding member of the Wireless Institute.
