Leadership Seminar Series Kicks Off

WI’s Leadership Seminar Series is targeted at leaders who will engage a broad audience of students and faculty from across the University.  Such leaders not only specialize in one aspect of wireless but also have a broader view on the grand challenges in wireless that cut across technical, economic, and regulatory lines.  WI staff members work across campus with many departments of the University to ensure widespread publicity for each event.  The format can vary from a typical overhead presentation to a panel discussion, and we have facilities to record audio and video of the event for online dissemination.

The series begins Thursday, May 5, 2011 with a seminar by Jeffrey Andrews, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of the Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG) at the University of Texas, Austin.
