Null joins ND Wireless Institute as Senior Research Software Engineer

Scott Null has joined the ND Wireless Institute in the College of Engineering at the University of Notre Dame as a Senior Research Software Engineer. Null will be responsible for supporting Notre Dame’s Wireless Institutes research, which includes network software development, design, implementation, and testing of radio frequency communications, spectrum sensing, and RF/microwave hardware.

Null brings over twenty years in software design and development. He has worked in support of startup environments, midsize and large enterprise software development companies. His responsibilities have included mobile development, back-end web services, databases, internet of things, front-end UI/UX, DevOps, content management systems, simulations, and mobile engagement platforms for highly available enterprise solutions. Null has functioned as principal software engineer an architect in support of new product launches and ongoing solutions in the telecom, medical devices, military technology, insurance, pro-audio and automotive industries conducting business in the US and abroad.

Null received his Executive MBA from the University of Notre Dame, and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Trine University.
