Wireless Institute hosts Fall 2017 BWAC Meeting

The Wireless Institute hosted a successful Fall 2017 BWAC Meeting. The Broadband Wireless Access and Applications Center (BWAC) is a multi-university research and development center connecting the wireless industry and government agencies with faculty and students from the University of Arizona (Lead), the Catholic University of America, University of Mississippi, University of Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.

The purpose of the meeting is to foster regular interactions and long-term relationships among the partners, prioritize cooperative research directions, project updates, adapt research activities and student training to address market needs.

One of the highlights of the meeting is the student-led poster session. This provides the students with the opportunity to highlight their research and discuss their findings. Industry members are able to interact and see their research dollars at work.
